Sex and sexuality are important parts of relationships. There are many different types of relationships which consenting adults should be able to engage in without having hide from or feel shamed by their therapist. A person must be able to talk about relationships and sexual practices in therapy, just as they would any other part of their life. I believe that clients deserve a therapist who understands sexual and gender diversity, kink and poly lifestyles, and that these are parts of life that can make up a whole and healthy human being. Having said that, I will also not assume that this is the reason you have chosen me for a clinician, nor that you are in a kink or poly relationship, should you seek therapy with me.
